Intro
Conviva is a private US company, offering services for online video optimization, online video analytics on viewer engagement and video performance. Their platform is also used to preemptively locate video streaming issues and make adjustments to avoid buffering and low quality.

As the complexity around delivery of online videos grows, operational teams not only want faster and deeper insights into delivery issues but also want these insights to be integrated into their workflows to automate tasks and to collaborate efficiently amongst various teams. This need has given rise to several specialized tools that are designed to notify relevant teams of incidents and issues and to allow them to configure automated tasks depending on the nature of incidents.

I was leading UX design of Real-time Alerts Dashboard feature for their platform, helping operational teams to receive deep insights into delivery issues faster, and have those insights integrated into their regular workflows to automate tasks execution and to collaborate efficiently amongst various teams.

The Real-time Alerts Dashboard integrated most popular 3rd party tools such as Webhooks, PagerDuty and Slack to notify relevant teams of incidents and issues and to allow them to configure automated tasks depending on the nature of incidents.
